Research Now Sports Day

Research Now staff helped AFK students to get active

Research Now, leading data collection services company and panel provider, brought staff to Tottenham Leisure Centre this month to take part in Action For Kids' Community Games Sports Day for 30 disabled young people.

Research Now staff volunteered to play different games with the young people, all games adapted to be played by people with disabilities. Football, Boccia, Kwik Cricket, foam javelin throwing, basketball and Unihoc, the ligthweight hockey, were all pushing the students to succeed at sport.

Volunteers and students competed against one another

The best performers received winners' medals, and everyone who took part received a participants certificate. Our thanks go out to everyone from Research Now who took part, and helped bring such a range of sports and an exciting day to all the students from Action For Kids. Action For Kids was able to hold the Community Games thanks to equipment provided by YMCA Hornsey, and the Haringey 2012 Local Opportunities Fund.

Everyone had a great day!
