Raffle

Our raffle is an extre/raffle/_workrelatedlearning1mely important part of our fundraising activities - not only does it raise vital funds for our work but the administration is carried out in our office by disabled students. The raffle is something that they can really learn from.

If you would like to sell raffle tickets please ring 020 8347 8111.

As part of our Work Related Learning Services our young people process the tickets, learning numeric and concentration skills, as well as gaining work experience in a real office environment. Each day the ticket books which are due to be sent out are carefully sorted and stuffed into envelopes ready for posting and returned tickets are made ready for the draw. Our students learn to work as part of a team and gain valuable skills and confidence as well as forming lasting friendships.

By selling raffle tickets to your family and friends, or by buying some yourself, you will be making a real difference to the lives of disabled children, young people and their families.

Please note that our raffle calls may be recorded for training purposes, and for ensuring that calls are up to our standards and those of the Fundraising Standards Board.

Fair Play

We ensure all returned ticket stubs in our “drum” each month before the draw. The winning tickets are always selected at random by someone who is not employed by Action For Kids and has not bought any tickets for the draw.
